Trade the levels.
Devy Trades explains the trading styles we watch: where price breaks, holds, sweeps and stalls. Plain language, key levels, and a clear idea of what makes a setup wrong.
The trading styles we look at
Five ways to read the same chart. Each one starts with a key level and a clear line where the idea is wrong.
Pre-Market Level Breakout
The first 5-minute candle of the day closes through a daily level that price has respected before. The break is the trigger.
Key Level Rejection
Price runs into a key level and holds. It rejects, or bounces, off the level instead of breaking it.
Sweep Reclaim Go
Price pokes past a level to grab resting orders, then reclaims it. The reclaim is the signal that the move was a trap.
Gamma Exposure
Where options dealers are positioned. Positive gamma tends to pin price and hold levels; negative gamma tends to let moves run.
High Volume Node
Price areas where the most trading happened. They tend to act as support and resistance: price stalls, bounces or breaks there.
